Audi Appoints STW’s Tongue For Strategic Sponsorship

After a competitive pitch, German premium carmaker, Audi, has appointed STW’s Tongue as its strategic sponsorship partner.

Anna Burgdorf, General Manager Corporate Communications for Audi Australia said: “As the Audi brand continues to grow in Australia, we need long term sponsorship and content strategy support for our customer experience program. The team at Tongue showcased a unique agency model and some powerful and creative ideas during the pitch process. We’re delighted to have them as a partner.”

Tongue will be responsible for all sponsorship duties, including strategy, creative, activations and amplification.

“Our business is so excited to be working with an amazing global brand like Audi. People naturally love talking about great cars that are beautifully designed and built for performance and our plans for the brand will take this to the next level. This is going to be a great challenge!” said John Du Vernet, Managing Partner at Tongue.

The appointment is effective immediately and will not affect the other agencies on the roster.

Tongue is part of STW, Australasia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
