Amplifi Makes Two Significant New Appointments

Amplifi, the strategic media investment and partnerships arm of Dentsu Aegis Network, has made two significant senior hires, appointing Annemarie Tanke to the newly created national role of group productivity director and Danny Zarka to productivity director.

Both Tanke and Zarka bring a wealth of experience to their respective roles and their appointments demonstrate the intent of Amplifi and Dentsu Aegis Network to recruit talent from different backgrounds and experience to complement their existing talent.

Tanke began her career at Accenture as a media auditor and more recently moved to Singapore to take up a role as the head of value management, Asia Pacific for Mindshare.

Zarka started his career at MCN and has been working at Ebiquity as a senior client service manager over the past eight years.

Speaking of the appointments, Amplifi’s head of investment Alex Pekish said, “Over the past year, we have made great strides across Amplifi’s investment pillars. The creation of a productivity division within Amplifi forms part of broader changes to ensure we have the right leadership and structures to progress and enhance our business and its offering to support our agencies.”

As group productivity director, Tanke will lead the roll-out of an operational excellence programme across DAN and its agencies, working with heads of investment to ensure that value is maximised for clients and best practice is implemented across the Group.

She said, “It’s a great honour to assume this national role within a company with great heritage and a reputation for looking after its staff.  I am looking forward to using my experience to help deliver greater investment value to DAN’s clients.”

These appointments follow the recent promotion of Simon Williams to the head of global media partnerships role late last year.

Both Tanke and Zarka started on Monday 11 January.
