Amazon Picks Ex-IPG Mediabrands Boss Henry Tajer To Lead Its Advertising Business

Technology and e-commerce behemoth Amazon has appointed Henry Tajer as managing director for Amazon Media Group (AMG) in Australia.

AMG is Amazon’s advertising solutions business spanning display, search, mobile, video, programmatic, and out of home.

B&T understands that Tajer commenced his new role at Amazon this month.

Tajer’s next career move had been speculated amongst the industry for some time after he quit his global CEO post at IPG Mediabrands in May last year under mysterious circumstances.

B&T has contacted Amazon for comment.
