2GB’s Alan Jones continues to experience the effect of his “misogynistic” tirade against New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern as advertisers continue to walk out on the controversial shock-jock.

While his initial comments labeled Ardern a “complete clown” and that Scott Morrison should “shove a sock down her throat”, newly emerged audio has revealed the full extent of his violent rant.

Aired on ABC’s Media Watch last night, a clip taken from Jones’ 2GB radio program on August 15 has revealed additional comments made by the radio host in his original attack against Ardern.

The audio reveals Jones saying: “This lightweight New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is challenging Scott Morrison over climate change. Now I hope Scott Morrison gets tough here with a few backhanders … hasn’t got a clue this woman.”

ABC News Breakfast host Michael Rowland shared the audio on Twitter this morning, which has sparked further outrage against Jones and calls for more advertisers to withdraw their sponsorship.

So far, Anytime Fitness, Amart, Big W, Bing Lee, Bunnings, ME Bank, Mercedez Benz, RSL Art Union, Snooze and Total Tools have all confirmed they have pulled their ads on Jones’ 2GB show.

However, a number of businesses such as Peter’s of Kensington, Gerard Malouf & Partners Lawyers, The Blind Factory and Bexley Dental are still advertising on the show.

This morning, Jones touched on the death threats he has allegedly received following his comments, while also repeating he had apologised “unreservedly” to Ardern.
