Adhesive PR Extends Travel Arm With Another Win

Independent consumer PR agency Adhesive PR has won the business for Allianz Global Assistance.

The one-year contract encompasses a full public relations programme including strategy, idea generation, strategic counsel, media relations, crisis communications and brand positioning.

Adhesive PR will be raising the profile of the company’s four major service categories including travel, automotive, health and home and property.

John Myler, CEO of Allianz Global Assistance commented: “Most people are aware of our parent company Allianz but few people have heard of Allianz Global Assistance and the assistance services we provide to millions of Australians across the country. We chose to work with Adhesive PR because of its unwavering knowledge of the media landscape, its crisis communications experience and its innovative approach to strategy and implementation.

“Everyone working with Allianz Global Assistance has a genuine passion for the business and a love for what we do – helping people. I saw this same passion and enthusiasm in Adhesive PR, which is why deciding to work with them was such an easy decision. We’re delighted to partner with such a strong and creative agency.”

Adhesive PR managing director Mike Maurice said: “There’s a big education job to be done so consumers can fully understand exactly what Allianz Global Assistance offers. From emergency medical assistance and travel insurance to automotive rescue and personal services, the company has an interesting but complex business model. Our task is to educate consumers on each of these areas so that they understand the importance of protection and why it’s needed.

“Allianz Global Assistance is a fantastic win for Adhesive PR as it gives the agency the opportunity to work across a number of different sectors including Travel, Automotive, Health and Home and Property. We’re looking forward to working closely with the team and generating excellent results over the next 12 months.”
