Todd Sampson’s brain training performs well

Adman Todd Sampson’s new show, Redesign My Brain, put on a strong show for the ABC last night, as the second highest-ranking non-news show on free-to-air TV.

The first of the three-part documentary series, which sees Sampson undergo brain training, pulled in 865,000 viewers, making it the seventh most-watched program.

Seven’s Home and Away was the only non-news program to rank higher, in fifth spot with an audience of 888,000.

Seven News won the highest audience figures, at 1.076 million, followed by Nine News with 1.039 million, Today Tonight with 952,000 and ABC News with 907,000.

Completing the top 10 were Nine’s A Current Affair (sixth, with 878,000 viewers), Seven’s Beauty and the Geek Australia (eighth, with 804,000 viewers), Nine’s Big Brother (ninth, with 801,000 viewers) and the ABC’s 7.30 (tenth, with 788,000 viewers).
