‘The Block’ welcomes six new partners and sponsors

Popular reality TV show, The Block, has secured four partners and two sponsors committed to the Fans v Faves series when it returns to our screens next Monday night.

Mitre 10, Suzuki and NAB are all back on board with the show, accompanied by new partner Nature’s Own and new sponsors The Good Guys and iSelect.

"The Block remains the standout vehicle for clients to build their brand,” Peter Wiltshire, Nine Entertainment Co. Group sales and marketing director, said.

"The market has always responded positively to The Block,” Sarah Stewart, Nine's head of content and brand integration added “but this season, with all our partners and sponsors activating The Block IP, it's a really clear demonstration that the market truly understands the power of the format to connect consumers with their brand."

This season the Blockheads will attempt to convert the old Dux Theatre in Melbourne's Albert Park into four three-bedroom, loft-style apartments, a tough challenge as the building is missing internal walls, floors, roof and plumbing.

The eighth season premieres Monday January 27 at 7.30pm on Nine.

Coinciding with the broadcast of The Block: Fans v Faves is the launch of the new Block website, http://theblock.com.au
