Sleepy turn out to late-night Ten debut

The first episode of Ten’s new US drama Sleepy Hollow won its timeslot but audience levels were low for the late 9.30pm debut.

Sleepy Hollow ranked as Tuesday night’s 19th most watched program with 597,000 viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Under the Dome was the network’s best performing show, in 11th place with 857,000 viewers it came second at 8.30pm to Seven’s Winners & Losers (925,000).

Seven News (1.189 million) was the evening’s most watched show, with The Force (1.095 million) and Border Security (1.037 million) helping Seven win the largest share of all free-to-air viewers.

Seven took a total 29.5% share of all FTA viewers, the network’s main channel won 22.4%.

Nine sat on a total 25.3% share with its  main channel on 18.8%. Nine’s best performing show was Nine News (1.184 million) with Big Brother in eighth place with an audience of 942,000.

Ten took a total 20.1% share with 14.7% of viewers watching the network’s primary channel.

The ABC sat on a total 19.4% share and SBS took 5.7%.
