SCA stations get down to the Sydney Royal Easter Show

Sydney radio stations 2DayFM and Triple M are standing behind the Sydney Royal Easter Show for the fourth consecutive year.

The partnership will see the Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) owned stations be the only metro FM stations with promotional tickets to the Show.

Jeremy Simpson, SCA Sydney general manager, said: “We are proud to once again partner with the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It’s a fantastic opportunity to unite both the 2DayFM and Triple M brands on an event that is undoubtedly one of the biggest on the Sydney calendar.”

The show will “have a massive presence” across 2Day FM breakfast and the Triple M Grill Team, as well as on workdays and weekends on both stations.

The agreement will also see live outdoor broadcasts at the event with 2Day FM’s new breakfast hosts Jules Lund, Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk to greet fans on-site daily.

Cherie Nicholl, Sydney Royal Easter Show general manager business and commercial development, added: “Southern Cross Austereo has been a valuable partner of the Show for many years. We are delighted to be working with them again bringing all the news and entertainment from the Show – Australia’s biggest celebration of the country coming to the city.”

The Show runs from April 10-23 in Sydney this year.
