SCA’s head of TV departs

Southern Cross Austereo’s Ben Parsons is leaving the company at the end of the month to pursue his own venture.

Parsons, head of television and general manager of the entertainment media unit, has been with SCA for 16 years.

Rhys Holleran, CEO at SCA, said: “I have worked with Ben throughout his entire journey with our company and I am incredibly proud to have been a part of that. He has achieved a lot and played a great role in the growth of our business, working across many areas including creating the integrated content strategy for TV, radio and digital.

“We wish him all the best for the future.”

Parsons added: “It has been an extraordinary journey and I have been privileged to work with some of the best media executives in the business.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that I have had the opportunity to work with and wish all at SCA the best for the future.”
