New executive appointments for FreemantleMedia

FreemantleMedia have appointed Jonathon Summerhayes to the key creative role of director of programming and Beth Hart as director of television content.

The appointments were made to help drive fresh thinking and new ideas to the television company.

Summerhayes will now be overseeing the creative and production processes for all of FremantleMedia Australia’s (FMA) entertainment and factual programming, reporting to CEO Ian Hogg.

Hart will move to Australia from the UK where she was previously executive producer for the UK version of The X Factor. she was known as a production talent and will report to Summerhayes.

“Both Jonathon and Beth are outstanding creatives and have unparalleled peer recognition,” Hogg said.

“Their appointments signal an important step change in our creative credentials and I am confident that both will bring fresh thinking and ideas and a new energy to the business.”
