Josh Black re-settles in Australia with GroupM

After working abroad for nine years, chief operating officer for GroupM’s branded entertainment, activation and partnerships division (GroupM ESP) Josh Black, has relocated to Sydney.

Black left Sydney in 2004 with PepsiCo Australia where he worked as marketing manager for the Gatorade brand before beig promoted to marketing director of hydration beverages. He left the company in 2009 to join a start-up agency based in Singapore. He joined GroupM in 2011 in his current role working across the Asia Pacific region with GroupM ESP.

Black will continue to work across the Asia Pacific region,with a focus on growing GroupM Australia’s branded entertainment, activation and partnerships offer. GroupM Australia recently acquired PLAY Communication to deliver content capabilities to the group.
