DWTS tramples ratings contenders

Seven’s performed a CanCan over the competition again on Tuesday night as the swirls, twirls and dips of Dancing with the Stars kept viewers glued to the network.

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) was the second most program of the night, coming second only to Seven News (1.135 million) with an audience of 1.133 million.

From 7.30 to 9.30pm DWTS dominated, leaving Nine’s Super Fun Night with 791,000 viewers and Big School with 574,000. Come Fly With Me did not feature in the top 20 most watched shows.

Over on Ten Recipe to Riches sat in 18th place with 479,000 viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Sleepy Hollow did not make into the top 20.

Seven took a 32.4% share of all free-to-air viewers across its channels with 24% going to the network’s primary channel.

Nine was left with a total 25.2% with 19.2% of that going to its main channel.

Ten sat on a combined 18.6% while its primary channel won 12.2%.

The ABC had 17.6% with 12% going to ABC1. SBS had 6% with 5.4% of that for SBS One.
