APN launches discount transit packages for 2013

Out of home ad network, APN Outdoor, has introduced discounts across its transit inventory for the first quarter of 2013 and increased the number of advertising panels by up to 60%.

Phil Eastwood, FM Sales APN Outdoor said: “Our Transit network has always delivered excellent value, but like all media channels, we need to constantly review our offering to market to ensure we are providing advertisers with a compelling proposition.

“With the introduction of new routes to the Transit Network, it is incumbent on us to regularly review our reach, frequency and SOV outcomes.  And this we have done with our new packages – increasing panel numbers in some cases by as much as 60%.”

APN said the deployment of more buses had also created new formats for advertisers to use, including L-shaped side panel advertising and additional bubble boxes for added copy and graphics.

“This is the largest change to the structure of Transit that APN Outdoor has ever delivered to the market and the incremental audience delivery, share-of-voice (SOV) and value proposition to advertisers is significant,” the organisation said in a release.
