Media Merchants Win Stone & Wood Media Account

Indie agency Meia Merchants has been named the first media agency of record for independent brewery Stone & Wood.

This is the first external partnership for the Stone & Wood marketing team.

Media Merchants will assist the Stone & Wood marketing team with media planning and trading.

Media Merchant’s managing director James Fitzgerald said: “Stone & Wood were looking for an agency who had the right cultural fit, an entrepreneurial spirit, and client first thinking, who could also produce best in class media trading outcomes.

“We’re thrilled to partner with a business who has embarked on such a purposeful and conscious business journey.

“Their values closely align with our own, and they share a great connection with their community, which is important to Media Merchants.  We love their beer too, so every member of our team is excited, to say the least.”

Stone & Wood does all of their marketing in-house but have been looking for an agency to help them grow the awareness of their other brands.

Stone & Wood’s communications and community manager Jasmin Daly said: “We’re excited to partner with Media Merchants and utilise their team’s expertise in media buying.”

The win is the second for Media Merchants in as many months, with the agency picking up Melbourne based Total Tools in June.
