M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has appointed Ben Greenslade as its new general manager after the departure of Jack Lamacraft in December last year.

Greenslade (pictured above) joins the agency after two-and-a-half years with Innocean Worldwide Australia as head of sponsorship and events, where he led the agency across Hyundai and Kia’s sponsorship portfolios.

Prior to that, Greenslade was a group account director at DDB working across Volkswagen, Westpac, McDonald’s and Arnott’s.

Jamie Gilbert-Smith, managing director of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, said: “Ben brings international sponsorship pedigree to bolster our team.

“We have grown continuously since forming in 2009, and Ben’s addition to the team will see him play a critical role in evolving our offering and continuing that success.”

Commenting on his appointment, Greenslade said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the S&E team. The current client portfolio is extremely exciting, and I look forward to working with the team to deliver great work for our clients.”
