Matt Sallis Replaces Grace Liu As Reprise CEO

IPG Mediabrands has announced the appointment of Matt Sallis as incoming CEO of Reprise, the group’s digitally-led full-service performance agency.

Sallis is currently managing director, accounts and performance, of Reprise Canada, a position he has held for the past three years. Previously he spent seven years with GroupM in Canada.

“Matt has impressed Reprise’s international management with his vision and initiatives for the future,” said Mediabrands Australia acting CEO Leigh Terry. “In discussions with Matt over time, I share the enthusiasm for his leadership and am delighted he will be the new CEO of our Australia business.”

Reprise in Australia has more than 140 employees and offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. While the business is fully integrated within the Mediabrands group, Reprise also works for independent clients including Monash University, Discovery Parks, Real Insurance and Government of South Australia.

Commenting on his appointment, Sallis said, “It is a rare opportunity to lead a business of such quality as Reprise Australia. The agency’s seamless integration with the wider national Mediabrands group, as well as its independent clients, is a great platform and I am truly looking forward to leading and contributing to the business.”

Sallis will take over Reprise from former CEO Grace Liu, who has resigned and left the business. Sallis was born in Australia, spent his formative years in New Zealand before building his career in Canada. He will join Reprise Australia in early April.
