Tantrums, breakdowns and tears are all part of the MasterChef playbook, but a contestant on the Spanish version of the show has had one almighty tizzy fit that saw her immediately punted by the judges.
The contestant, a 27-year-old social worker called Saray, was so pissed at the judges’ previous adjudication of her culinary skills she basically refused to participate in the latest challenge that involved the preparation of a whole partridge.
Rather than do the plucking, de-bowelling and subsequent roasting of said bird, a very cranky Saray simply served the bird whole to judges garnished with some cherry tomatoes and spring onions.

Needless to say, the sorry looking dish didn’t go well with the three judges, one uttering: “This is never seen in MasterChef.”
Sensing her fate, Saray simply removed her apron and said, “bye, bye”. Still, social media appeared to side with the disgruntled cook and her act of vengeance.
