Would You Be Brave Enough To Try Cadbury’s New “Wasabi Crunch” Chocolate?

Would You Be Brave Enough To Try Cadbury’s New “Wasabi Crunch” Chocolate?

Move over Vegemite cadbury, there’s a new mashup in town! Cadbury chocolate in the UK have announced three new flavours which could be added to its Milk Tray in the future: “Kale Crème”, “Wasabi Crunch” and “Beetroot Jelly” chocolate…mmmmmmm.

The flavours were proposed at the UK’s Bournville factory which serves as the headquarters for Mondelez international (the company behind Cadbury).

Dave Shepherd, head of research and development at Milk Tray said: “Beetroot is one of the ways you can get the red colour without using artificial colourings. Kale is more of a gamble, but people are much more health orientated and crispy kale is already being eaten by some as a substitute for crisps.

“What we’re doing is similar to the fashion industry. The clothes on the catwalk never appear as they are on the shelves. Instead you see things inspired by them down the line.”

This year, Salted Caramel, Apple Crunch and Truffle Heart were added to the Milk Tray box.
