Tinder In $20 Million Sponsorship Talks With Manchester United

The world’s most famous dating app, Tinder, is reportedly in talks to sponsor the world’s most famous football team, Manchester United.

Media reports out of the UK have said Tinder is prepared to stump up £12 million ($A20 million) to have its logo on the sleeves of the famed red shirts. US car maker Chevrolet is currently the team’s main shirt sponsor and adidas its kit supplier.

A Tinder spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “We are in talks with Manchester United to explore potential partnership opportunities. We are excited to see what we can do together.”

However, it’s understood that the powers-that-be at Man Utd are less excited about the idea than Tinder is.

If the deal was to fall through, Tinder is reportedly keen to sponsor another English Premier League team.

Tinder, a Silicon Valley company, already has a deal in place with Italian side Napoli, which saw striker Arkadiusz Milik featured as one of the profiles on the app.
