This Public Service Announcement Used Instagram To Combat Sexual Violence

Brazilian ad agency Africa turned to Instagram in its latest campaign for violence awareness organisation Instituto Maria da Penha in an effort to combat sexual violence.

According to the video depicting the campaign, three out of ten women experience some form of sexual violence, with more than half of it perpetuating from the way a woman dresses.

The campaign elicited the help of female Brazilian celebrities to upload a photo and include a description about how their body belongs to them.
