Murphy has been acting CMO over the last four months and will become a permanent member of Tabcorp’s senior executive leadership team. Tabcorp reports it is delighted to have been able to promote someone from within the business into the role.

Murphy brings deep industry experience to the CMO role having worked with Crown, World Wresting Entertainment, Melbourne Storm and William Hill before joining Tabcorp in 2015.

As part of the process, Tabcorp took the opportunity to undertake a review of its marketing structure. Marketing activities across the group will now be centralised to the CMO function, with business unit marketing leaders embedded in the company’s three businesses (Wagering and Media, Keno and Gaming Services).
