Strategy Agency Step Change Moves Into Uber’s Old Pyrmont Offices

Australian strategy agency Step Change has moved into new larger offices in Sydney citing “client demand” as the reason behind the expansion.

Step Change CEO Ashton Bishop said, “More clients are demanding our unique combination of Strategy and Creativity, and we had outgrown our York Street offices a long time ago.

“It has taken over six months to find this place and move, any longer and we would have been a fire hazard.”

The new “loft-style” 48-desk, 443SQM, office is four times larger than York Street and is the former Uber offices in Pyrmont.

“We have grown with our clients,” added Bishop. “The new space represents our ambitions to double in size again this year. Also, the new space will give our creative ideas room to breathe.”

The Sydney expansion comes after Step Change appointed new senior digital and creative heads in 2016. The growth has come from growing with brands such as ANZ, AGL, Tyro, and Sanitarium as well as over 100 other new clients each year.

Bishop said he was keen for the Sydney office to have the same culture and level of service as before, which is why the space is adorned with murals and a new welcome area.
