State of Origin heats up Sydney’s train stations

The State of Origin is heating up the states so outdoor media provider Adshel and Destination NSW teamed up to ignite the rivalry with an out of home campaign promoting the second game.

The campaign on Adshel’s digital outdoor network in Sydney’s train stations will run until June 19 with an #uptheblues hashtag to show the support for the NSW Blues.

The main hub of activity ‘Station Domination’ will be broadcast throughout one of Sydney’s busiest hubs, Central Station.

“We are thrilled that Destination NSW have decided to partner with us to make the most of our Sydney Trains network,” Nicole McInnes, chief marketing officer at Adshel, said.

“The rivalry between NSW and QLD is long known, and to utilise our network to tap into millions of Sydneysider’s love of the Blues is a great way to engage commuters in this landmark State of Origin match.

“Over 1.4 million commuter journeys are made across Sydney Train’s network every day, meaning whatever team you support, this campaign is going to be pretty hard to miss. So we should probably apologise now to those in Sydney who may be backing Queensland!”

Who are you rooting for in next week’s game?
