Social Media Manager Scores Hilarious Reward For Figuring Out KFC’s Clever Twitter Joke

A social media manager from a US public relations firm has been given a very funny and memorable reward for figuring out a clever Twitter stunt by KFC.

As a tribute to its secret recipe, the fried chicken giant sneakily followed 11 Herbs (six men named Herb) and Spices (the five pop stars who made up The Spice Girls) on Twitter, and waited to see if anyone noticed.

Soon enough, Mike Edgette from TallGrass Public Relations had caught on to the stunt – created over a month ago by creative agency Wieden+Kennedy – and let KFC know about it.

As a reward for figuring out the joke, KFC gave Edgette what anyone of its fans would fawn over: a painting of him getting a piggy-back from Colonel Sanders in the woods.
