Seven’s Corporate Affairs Boss Simon Francis Quits The Network After Two Decades

Seven’s corporate affairs chief Simon Francis has reportedly resigned from the network after a two-decade career.

B&T contacted our old sparring partner for comment, however, Francis declined the opportunity to make ay comment, nor did he reveal his next move.

There has been no official statement from Seven on Francis’ departure who is reportedly very close to Seven supremos Kerry Stokes and Tim Worner.

Francis’ leaving was reported in The Australian over the weekend where he was wonderfully described as the “master of the dark arts”, “a ferocious spin doctor” and “unrivalled launcher”. The Oz adding: “As for the cancer stick and caffeine loving Francis, here’s hoping there’s a memoir in the raconteur’s near future. Imagine the stories he could tell.”
