Schawk Australia Recognised In Flexo Awards With Stunning HD Outcomes

Schawk Australia, the regional arm of global prepress company Schawk, has been acknowledged with two top awards at the ANZFTA gala awards event.

Sharing the technical accolades with partner print firm, Amcor Flexibles, Schawk Australia was recognised for innovative graphic production and colour management contributions – the end clients being Campbell Arnott’s and Nestlé Australia.

The winning entries were part of a suite of premedia work on 44 and 73 SKU’s Schawk did for their respective clients.

To produce the stunning HD Flexo work for both clients, Ryan Sharratt, operations manager for Schawk Australia said, “New proofing profiles were created based on precise colour matching fingerprints that reduced the number of print colours, as well as reducing overall ink coverage”.

“Schawk created 2D & 3D renders for Campbells Arnott’s; introduced new BLUE X software (a cloud based application preferred by Schawk worldwide) for enhanced workflow and completed stakeholder training in record time. BLUE X provides authorised personnel control and management of brands across the entire asset lifecycle.”

Undoubtedly the ANZFTA judges were impressed with the finished results and recognised the prepress expertise of Schawk Australia, coupled with the print skills of Amcor in awarding Silver (Reverse Print) and Bronze (Surface Print) in the highly contested Wide Web Flexibles category at the awards.
