Locally-sourced Australian brand The Smokeman Brothers, has hit shelves with packaging mastered by independent creative agency Our Revolution.

The Smokeman Brothers is different to your average deli meat. It is a range of premium crafted meats, made in Australia, and authentically smoked using sustainable timber sourced from the Victorian Highlands and The Riverina regions.

Our Revolution were involved in the project from end-to-end; naming, branding and designing packaging that would position The Smokeman Brothers as premium among the competitive smallgoods market.

Maria Ghazi, marketing manager at The Smokeman Brothers, said: “We are very excited to launch The Smokeman Brothers brand as the proposition speaks to what artisan means to consumers.

Using locally-sourced ingredients, this high-quality deli meat range has a unique, smokey taste. We are thrilled with the packaging.”

Jen Doran, creative director at Our Revolution, said The Smokeman Brothers wanted the illustration of the ‘brothers’ to become an asset that tells the story beyond the packaging.

“Emphasising the smoked flavour was achieved through highlighting provenance claims by incorporating imagery that shows the literal smoke released from the wood chips and around the window revealing the product,” she said.

The Smokeman Brothers is available at Coles from November.
