Queensland Agency The Creative Collective Acquires Fig Creative

Queensland-based internet marketing agency The Creative Collective has announced it has acquired another local agency in Fig Creative.

Yvette Adams, founder and creative partner of The Creative Collective, said: “We’ve been in negotiations for a few months now after the former owners approached us, as they were keen to pursue other business interests.

“They had a good, solid client base and lots of future potential, so after doing a lot of due diligence, we decided to go for it.”

Now in its 10th year of business, The Creative Collective has grown exponentially since 2014 when it disbanded its franchise model and Adams took former intern, contractor and later franchisee, Katrina Lees, on as a business partner.

“It’s proved to be a really good move. We’re both really ambitious and driven women, and by effectively sharing the role of CEO, we are able to achieve work/life balance around our families, given we are both mothers,” Lees said.

Fig Creative’s Jennifer Perri said: “Important to us when exploring new horizons was that the new owners of our company had similar values, ethics, parity in price range and systems, and were located near enough to understand the local market, and could service you in person where required.

“We’re confident The Creative Collective will be able to service our clients with the same level of care and attention we have provided to date, with even more resources, staff and capabilities in the mix.”

The company boasts 10 staff spread across offices in Maroochydore and Newcastle, and a wider network of 25 contractors.
