Publicis Groupe Hires New Chief Client Officer For Australia & NZ

Agency network Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Helge Gruettke as its new chief client officer across the trans-Tasman.

A marketing and communications leader with over 18 years’ experience growing global brands such as Netflix, Rip Curl, McDonald’s, Hyundai, Allianz, IBM, Beck’s, DHL and Shell, Gruettke (pictured above) joins Publicis Groupe from VML Sydney, where he held the role of client service director.

Prior to this, Gruettke was group business head on the Telstra account at CX agency Lavender. He has also held roles overseas at GREY in Düsseldorf, BBDO Germany and Geometry London.

Gruettke will lead ‘The Neighbourhood’, Publicis Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ agency model encompassing creative, media, digital, shopper, PR and speciality expertise from across the network, and purpose built to service new client Campbell Arnott’s.

Publicis Communications’ CEO for Australia and New Zealand, Michael Rebelo, said: “At the heart of our ‘Power of One’ model for Campbell Arnott’s is a leader that is fully empowered and accountable to bring the best talent and solutions from across our Groupe.
