PR Agency Kate & Co. Begins 2018 With Five New Accounts

Independently-owned PR agency Kate & Co. Publicity and Events has announced five new business wins across its fashion and lifestyle portfolios.

The agency has secured the Witchery PR retainer for 2018 and will also be driving talent procurement, PR and influencer engagement for the brand’s annual ‘White Shirt’ campaign for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, which is celebrating its 10th year.

After successfully working with Virgin Australia on its Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival sponsorship in 2017, the agency will once again be partnering with the airline to drive PR and social media around its involvement in the 2018 festival.

Kate & Co’s Sydney office will continue to work with lingerie brand Simone Pérèle to drive media relations for its new spring/summer range, including a focus on Valentine’s Day media coverage.

The agency will also be working on a media relations campaign with high-end shoe brand Phare, created by Petrina Hare, former accessories director for Scanlan Theodore and Mimco.

In the health space, the agency is working with women’s health physiotherapist, Shira Kramer to launch her new online post-natal recovery program, Restore Your Core.

Kate & Co. Co-Director, Kate Bensimon said the agency has experienced significant growth over the past 12, having acquired some of Australia’s most well-known brands, underpinned by an employment drive and new Melbourne headquarters.

“2018 is already shaping-up to be one of our biggest years to date, she said.

“We have some of the best publicists in the business working for us. They’re passionate about what they do, and it’s showing in their work.

“We’re proud of where Kate & Co. is going, and look forward to rolling out these campaigns over the coming weeks and months.”
