Pontoon Property Agency Announces Launch To Market

Property marketer Shane Stewart and his business partner Saxon Lyne, managing director of existing creative brand agency Pontoon 8, have officially launched their targeted property marketing agency, Pontoon Property, to the Australian market.

The new agency will focus on partnering with real estate agencies, developers and landlords to provide fully-integrated creative solutions for property projects.

Stewart (featured image, left) will take on the joint managing director role alongside Lyne (featured image, right) at Pontoon Property after holding senior marketing positions at international real estate firms Knight Frank and Colliers International.

Based in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Pontoon Property is a new breed of creative agency purely focusing on the property marketing space.

Lyne said the property space is unique and not without complexity.

He commented: “The growing strength of our Pontoon 8 business, which has eight creative staff, has seen us appointed to an increasing number of property clients looking for a trusted and experienced creative partner who can deliver on brief, on budget and on time.

“Our involvement with the AU$130 million repositioning and rebranding of North Sydney’s NorthPoint Tower by Cromwell Property Group resulted in its recent 50 per cent sale for AU$300 million – becoming Sydney’s largest metropolitan transaction of 2018.

“We look forward to delivering more strategic campaigns, direction and creativity in this space to give landlords, developers and real estate agencies a competitive approach to property marketing.”

Stewart said the property industry is niche and every campaign is different – a one-size-fits-all approach does not work.

He added: “Working in-house across many varied marketing campaigns, I saw an opportunity in the market for creative solutions that deliver a high level of expertise, insight and industry knowledge.

“Being purely focused on the property market means our business model can adapt to market conditions, allowing us to be agile in our approach and work on varying sizes of property campaigns.”

Stewart has worked alongside various agencies in his in-house roles working on key projects such as Forestway Shopping Centre on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Mid-City Centre and 52 Goulburn Street in the CBD, Eclipse Tower in Parramatta, Brisbane Quarter at 300 George Street in Brisbane, and more.

Lyne said: “Leveraging Shane’s experience in the property industry, and following the fantastic growth Pontoon 8 has already experienced – it was a no-brainer for us to progress to the next step in our future together.”

Pontoon Property has ongoing experience with clients including Knight Frank, Colliers International, Brookfield, Centuria Capital, Altis Property Partners and Cromwell Property Group.
