Nike Australia Promotes Within For New Marketing Boss

Nike Pacific has announced Brant Hirst as marketing director. Based in Melbourne, Hirst will commence the new role in October forming part of the Nike Pacific Leadership Team.

In 2010, Hirst joined Nike Pacific as the Head of sports marketing leading a high performing team and successfully executing many of the country’s larger apparel and footwear partnership agreements including the renewal of the Nike / FFA agreement – the longest apparel contract executed in Australia.

Last year saw Hirst transition to the role of brand manager for the Nike Women’s category, a newly created role focusing on the rapidly growing women’s space. Hirst has lead the charge
locally including delivery of the Nike Women’s ‘Better For It’ campaign and the inaugural Nike+ Training Club Tour event in early 2015, exemplifying Nike’s commitment to women in sport.

Hirst will lead all strategic marketing initiatives in the region and said, “I am genuinely excited about this opportunity. It is a huge privilege and I’m fortunate to be leading a great team. Nike is a brand that I am incredibly passionate about. I look forward to playing a new role as we continue toward our goals.”
