New BADC Sponsors Go For Gold

The annual Brisbane Advertising and Design Club (BADC) Awards are on again, with judging now complete and preparation for the Gala Awards night on October 29 underway. The club is going from strength to strength, and in its 42nd year, again welcomes additional sponsors to its ranks.

BADC is proud to announce two new Gold Sponsors for 2016 – production company Light and Shade and creative industries firm McCormicks Law.

The club also welcomes back ongoing Platinum Sponsor, Empire Post, and Gold Sponsors O’Brien Accountants, Cutting Edge, SevenTwenty, Post Lounge and Platypus Graphics.

Josh Zaini, director of Light and Shade Media said, “We are proud to support BADC and help award and highlight great ideas in our local industry. Light and Shade Media is passionate about promoting originality and forward thinking, so it’s really important to us to encourage an environment that recognises the people and the work that does just that.”

Matt McCormick from McCormicks Law said, “Throwing our support behind BADC was a very easy decision. A number of our existing clients are members and have spoken highly of the Club and the award’s importance to a strong creative industry in Brisbane. We are looking forward to putting our support behind BADC.

BADC president Gary Smith said, “It is a real honour to have backing from leading companies in the industry. I welcome their commitment and thank all of our sponsors, both new and ongoing, for continuing the BADC legacy. It is paramount that we continue to reward and encourage creativity across all areas of advertising and design.”

The BADC awards, founded in 1974, were designed to celebrate and promote creative excellence within the local Brisbane advertising and design industry.

The 2016 awards night will be held on 29 October 2016 at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC). Tickets will be on sale soon.
