Movable Ink Opens New APAC Office In Sydney And Hires Regional Head Of Sales

Movable Ink, the leading provider of intelligent content, today officially opened its new office in Sydney and announced the hiring of Brett Wagner as Head of Sales, Asia-Pacific (APAC).

With Mr Wagner at the helm, Movable Ink’s new office will provide regional support to its growing roster of customers in Australia and New Zealand and open doors for new business in the APAC region.

Mr Wagner is a seasoned revenue-generating sales leader with more than 18 years of combined management, enterprise SaaS, and Ad Tech experience. In his new role, Mr. Wagner will focus on sales and new business but will also manage Movable Ink’s overall APAC operations while providing the best experience for the company’s many existing customers in the region.

“Brett comes on board at a pivotal time for us as we aim to continue our global growth and market leadership position. His experience listening to and understanding the needs of enterprise software customers will be invaluable as we expand our footprint and forge lasting relationships with APAC brands that are hungry to innovate with content in email and beyond,” said Vivek Sharma, CEO of Movable Ink.

Mr Wagner most recently served as Executive Director of Sales for LiveIntent, another leading enterprise SaaS company in the email channel that enables publishers and brands to monetise their email ad inventory and first-party data, optimise their own email marketing messaging, and streamline their email ad serving process. At LiveIntent, Mr Wagner managed a team that sold both SaaS and digital media to brands and agencies in the US and Europe.

Previously, Mr Wagner was Chief Revenue Officer for Bomoda, a membership-based digital community focused on introducing and promoting luxury western brands to affluent Chinese consumers. During his tenure, Mr. Wagner assembled and led a global Sales, Marketing and Account Management team of more than 30 people across the US, China and Europe. He also built digital advertising and social commerce revenue models, increasing YoY media sales by more than 900%.

“Coming from global sales leadership positions within the email and larger digital marketing space, I’ve garnered a lot of insights into the appetite top brands have to generate the highest return from their digital efforts while providing the best possible customer experience. It became immediately clear after diving into Movable Ink’s technology and vision that the company has lots of runway ahead for international growth and success,” said Mr Wagner.
