Melbourne’s Fedsquare Launches New Website

Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square is going digital, launching a new site FedSquare.com, created by Frank Digital.

“We wanted to make Fed Square more accessible to a wider audience,” says Matt Barbelli, creative director. “The challenge was to design a secure and scalable website that would cater for all user technologies, promote attractions, and do justice to this iconic Melbourne landmark.”

The new FedSquare.com features a grid-style user interface, with advanced search capabilities and an integrated content management system. Using an API framework to serve content, the website is secure and responsive across all platforms, languages and devices.

“With the new site, Fed Square is now more accessible than ever before,” says Jane Sydenham-Clarke, Fed Square marketing and program manager. “We’re delighted to have created a way for even more people to discover and experience this vibrant public space.”

Now in its sixth year, Frank Digital has won a string of Melbourne accounts including Melbourne Central Tower and Australian Catholic University. With offices in Sydney and Melbourne, the digital agency specialises in user-centric experiences across websites, ecommerce, mobile applications and social media.
