Kalido Recruits Digital Expert Simon Dakin

Customer experience firm Kalido has announced it has appointed digital expert Simon Dakin (pictured above) as its new strategic account executive.

Dakin brings 15 years’ experience to Kalido, having previously been head of digital and e-commerce at Thrifty Car Rental, and leading digital transformation projects at Transport NSW.

Kalido CEO Joel Norton said: “Kalido is a new breed of customer experience firm, and as we continue to grow, we need people on our team who can think strategically in this space.

“Simon brings strong skills and experience to Kalido, including a great technical ability, an entrepreneurial mindset, together with an understanding of what clients need.”

Commenting on his new role, Dakin said: “What attracted me to Kalido was the opportunity to work on digital transformation projects with some of the great brands that Kalido has partnered with, as well as leading technology partners such as Salesforce, Sitecore and Acquia.

“Kalido is evolving rapidly to become a leading force in data driven communications, digital experience platforms and marketing automation. I’m looking forward to being part of their continued growth and having the opportunity to help Kalido build the future.”

Kalido has grown considerably in the past 12 months to now have over 60 team members across its four offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Hong Kong.

“We’re continuing to grow our position in the Australian market as a customer experience firm that is both strong in strategy development and delivery, and backed by world class technology,” Norton said.

“In addition to bringing on board Simon, in the past six months we have also added new team members to our Southeast Asia team following new client wins.”
