Isle Of Lime Wins PR Duties For YGAP’s ‘Polished Man’ Campaign

Melbourne-based PR, digital and events agency Isle of Lime has announced it is supporting YGAP with its 2018 ‘Polished Man’ campaign to end violence against children.

Now in its fifth year, the initiative calls on Australians to paint one nail blue to represent the one child who dies every five minutes as a result of violence.

The aim of the campaign is to raise $1.7 million, with funds channelled into recovery and trauma prevention programs for children who have suffered or are at risk of violence globally.

The campaign has been supported by an impressive array of upstanding ‘Polished Men and Women’ from Chris Hemsworth and Zac Efron, to Olympia Valance and Malcolm Turnbull.

Kylie Wallace, co-founder and campaign manager for Polished Man: “We hope people will stand up and help us to carve out a new future for children – one where they are free to laugh and to just be kids.

“We’re excited to have Isle of Lime support on this journey and help us leverage our ambassadors, our partners, whilst encouraging the public to get involved.”

Isle of Lime founder and director Lina Cabai said she was proud to be one of the top fundraising Polished Women in the world last year and delighted to get behind the YGAP initiative for 2018.

“When Polished Man approached us, it was the easiest handshake ever. We’re proud to stand beside them and work with their team of incredibly well Polished Men and Women,” she said.

“Coming on board as an ambassador last year, I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact this campaign has on young kids and we’re really excited to build on that success.”

This year’s Polished Man ambassador list boasts numerous famous names such as Vance Joy (pictured above), Michael Klim, Bruce Keebaugh, Olympia Valance, Steven Brown, Nathan Brown, Paul Roos, Georgia Love and Lee Elliot.
