Host/Havas Wins Top Prize At AD STARS 2018 For ‘Palau Pledge’

Creative agency Host/Havas has won Grand Prix of the Year for its ‘Palau Pledge’ campaign at AD STARS 2018, collecting US$10,000 prize money over the weekend.

The agency also won the Grand Prix for Direct and the Grand Prix for Media at AD STARS – the only international award show based in Asia. It’s also the only international advertising awards platform that doesn’t charge entry fees.

The Coca-Cola Company also won Grand Prix of the Year for its ‘Share a Coke – 1,000 Name Celebration’ campaign created by Fitzco//McCann in the US, which also collected US$10,000 at a gala ceremony in South Korea over the weekend.

Other Australian agencies to win at AD STARS included Saatchi & Saatchi Australia and GoodOil Films for ‘I Need You’ (RSPCA), which won Gold in the PSA category.

In the Data Insights category, M&C Saatchi Sydney won Gold for the ‘NRMA FireBlanket’.

GPY&R Melbourne won Gold in Direct and Gold in Promo for Monash University’s ‘Sip Safe’ campaign, while BWM Dentsu Sydney won Gold in the PR category for ‘Project ReVoice’ (The ALS Association).
