Havas Sydney Expands Digital Team With Two Senior Hires

Havas Sydney has announced two new senior appointments to further strengthen the agency’s digital capabilities.

Paul Bootlis (pictured above, right) joins as digital creative director and Yoann Bernex (pictured above, left) expands the digital technology team at Havas Sydney as technical lead.

Bootlis returns to Australia after a stint in the US, most recently at AKQA in San Francisco. He brings over 15 years’ experience as a creative director and copywriter, having worked with a number of leading global brands including Google, Nike, Toyota, Cadbury and Pernod Ricard.

In his new role, Bootlis will be responsible for creative development on digital and integrated briefs, overseeing the team’s execution to final product.

Bernex joins Havas Sydney with 11 years’ technical experience in front-end development, database management, web service, and source and deployment workflows.

He will lead a team of front and back-end developers, working on social network integration, mobile web apps and developing complex business intelligence systems for global brands.
