“What Did I Just Watch…?” German DIY Chain Returns With Insane New Spot

German home improvement chain Hornbach is renowned for some pretty oddball campaigns and its latest effort is definitely no exception.

With the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere, the DIY retailer its encouraging Germans to get outside and get to work on neglected gardens.

The ad comes with the tag “That’s what the early spring smells like” and follows two burly, hirsute chaps manuring and tidying.

And, as with any Hornbach ad, it then veers in a gloriously demented direction.
