Former Adobe MD Chris Skelton Resurfaces At Marketplacer

E-commerce platform Marketplacer has announced the appointment of Chris Skelton as its new chief revenue officer.

Skelton, who was most recently the managing director of Adobe for Australia and New Zealand, and has over 20 years’ industry experience, will be responsible for leading the sales function at Marketplacer.

He has also held senior directorship roles at SAP, Unisys and the Australian and New Zealand arm of software reseller Insight.

Skelton’s appointment comes after a period of growth for Marketplacer, having signed Myer, Bob Jane T-Mart and Jayco.

The company has a 10-year track record of developing online marketplaces and now operates in 11 countries.

Marketplacer founder and MD Jason Wyatt said: “We’re pleased to welcome someone of Chris’s calibre to the Marketplacer team.

Commenting on his appointment, Skelton said: “This is an exciting time to join Marketplacer.

Skelton will commence his position at Marketplacer on Monday.
