Dutch Airlines Tweets Pro-Gay Message, And Fails Hilariously

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ valiant attempts to hitch its social media campaign to Amsterdam’s Pride movement has proven a hapless disaster.

The airline tweeted the images of three rainbow coloured seat belts with the words, “It doesn’t matter who you click with. Happy [Pride Amsterdam].”

A fantastic pride message but perhaps not totally thought through. As keen observers noted, the two same-same belts don’t actually work and could, in fact, be a dangerous combination indeed. Some suggesting if there was a crash, only the heterosexual passengers would survive. Cue the social media fallout:
