Daylight Agency Opens Government Division, Hires Legal & Political Expert

Integrated communications firm Daylight Agency has cemented its presence in the government and political arena with the appointment of industry veteran David Begg.

A practising solicitor for over 28 years, Begg (pictured above) will head up the agency’s new government division.

He has extensive experience working with large commercial clients on high-profile regulatory and legal matters, as well as providing strategic political advice. Sectors Begg specialises across include finance, insurance, telecommunications, transportation, and energy.

Chris Gray, managing director of Daylight Agency, said: “We are extremely pleased David has chosen to join us at a time when we are undergoing significant growth.

“Along with his commercial acumen, David brings an extensive political network and a deep understanding of government relations and strategy.

“He has advised industry associations and professional organisations and now our clients, both current and prospective, can tap into this specialist offering.”

Commenting on his appointment, Begg said he is enthusiastic about working with the Daylight team and integrating his advice into strategic communication programs for the agency’s corporate accounts.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with our clients to analyse issues and develop action plans that are workable within both the political and commercial arenas,” he said.
