Christie Spaces Launches In Partnership With Magnum & Co

Australian-owned business, Christie Spaces, has signed Magnum & Co to help launch its premium interpretation of the co-working concept in Australia.

The boutique-gallery workspaces create an environment of unparalleled engagement, productivity and community, with the brand set to challenge US-based WeWork in Australia’s growing co-working market. The segment is currently at 36% year-on-year growth in Australia, outpacing London and New York.

Magnum & Co will manage Christie Spaces’ strategic communications as it expands its domestic footprint. Next month, the brand will unveil its sixth world-class co-working ecosystem. Located at 240 Queen Street in Brisbane, the new space will extend the Christie community across the eastern seaboard.

Owner of Christie Spaces, Robert Christie, said: “We exist to service progressive businesses that understand the value of the diversity flourishing in co-working environments. Magnum & Co is the perfect partner for us given they’re renowned for their industry-leading collaborative work. We’ve got some great stories to tell and these are the guys to tell them”.

Magnum & Co Managing Director, Aaron Crowther, said: “Christie Spaces is dedicated to creating authentic business connections as we are at Magnum & Co, so we see real alignment between our brands. We’re thrilled to be working with such a dynamic disruptor in the Australian business community”.

“Magnum & Co is also proud to partner with a brand set on giving back to the community – as is Christie Spaces’ philosophy to support local and international small businesses through a partnership with Opportunity International.”

Christie Spaces’ unique co-working model backs some of the most unfortunate communities around the world as they establish self-sustaining businesses of their own via micro-financing. The business’s belief in social enterprise as a core part of their member culture is a distinctive aspect of their offering.

“We want our co-working members to be forward thinkers, and that means realising how being a part of the Christie Spaces family means they can give back philanthropically as a natural extension of their business and the relationships forged in our spaces,” said Christie.

On announcing the partnership, Crowther said he expects many in the creative, media and marketing industry to find a new home in Christie Spaces because of its unique, community-centred approach.
