CarAdvice And The Carousel Partner For Audience Expansion

CarAdvice And The Carousel Partner For Audience Expansion

Independent publishers, car advisory CarAdvice.com.au and lifestyle site TheCarousel.com, have joined forces in an exclusive arrangement to provide better automotive content to Australia’s female lifestyle demographic, and boost appeal for advertisers.

CarAdvice will provide expertise in the form of better, more targeted written and video content for The Carousel’s female focused audience, which may not typically seek out auto content on traditional car sites.

The Carousel has incorporated an automotive section to its website, powered by CarAdvice content. Collaborative content will start to appear over the coming weeks.

CarAdvice’s highly regarded automotive content, including its especially popular videos, expert and owner reviews, enjoys an audience of 326,000 unique views per month.

The Carousel will help promote the CarAdvice brand to its female lifestyle focused online audience via content syndication, co-produced content, competitions, and advertising opportunities.

“Women drive cars, buy cars, and love cars – and CarAdvice.com.au is the go-to car advice site in Australia. This partnership gives The Carousel the opportunity to expand content into cars but with a female/fashion spin on it. We believe the automotive advertising industry will be extremely attracted by our joint proposition,” said Robyn Foyster, CEO, Foyster Media.

Andrew Beecher, CEO of CarAdvice, added: “We’re pleased to expand our automotive audience amongst females given they influence up to 70 per cent of car purchase decisions but aren’t currently very well served editorially.  The Carousel readers can rest assured that we’ll retain our focus on authentic, quality content for a real car buying audience, which in this case happens to be female. After all, space, performance, technology and comfort are relevant for all car buyers, regardless of gender. Our goal is to be relevant,  informative and hopefully just a little bit entertaining.”
