Campaign: Eagle Boys Teams Up With Fat Pizza and Housos Movie

Australian owned Eagle Boys has joined forces with the team behind Aussie satirical film Fat Pizza vs Housos to carry out a spate of joint promotional activities.

Fat Pizza vs Housos is due to hit cinemas this November.

Eagle Boys’ communications manager Mel Deacon said pizza and movies made the perfect partnership, but no more so than when the film in question largely centred on the comings and goings of a fictional self-declared “big and cheesy” Fat Pizza shop.

“We’re the local pizza company exclusively teaming up with a blockbuster Australian film franchise, so this partnership is simply about Aussies supporting Aussies,” said Deacon.

“With the current promotion Eagle Boys will reward its existing customers through pizza parties, Hoyts cinema ticket prizes and in-store deals, enabling them to share the Fat Pizza vs Housos excitement with their family and friends.”

Eagle Boys has launched two meal deals as part of Fat Pizza vs Housos promotion; the Fat Pizza Deal (it’s big and it’s cheesy) offers two family pizzas and a cheese pizza bread and the Housos Deal (it’s cheap like Shazza) offers two large pizzas and a 2L drink at a bargain price.

The network will be giving away 20,000 buy one, get one free movie ticket offers so Eagle Boys customers can see Fat Pizza vs Housos in Hoyts cinemas around the country.

The Eagle Boys eagle will also be joining the Fat Pizza vs Housos cast as they embark on a promotional tour around the country. As part of the national tour the film cast will be hosting pizza parties, which are expected to attract hundreds of fans and customers, in select Eagle Boys stores in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

The joint campaign also features a social competition ‘Ya Missus or Ya Mate’ where one lucky Fat Pizza vs Housos fan will win a trip to Sydney and be given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to star in a walk-on-role, with their Missus or Mate, in the next season of Housos.

Fat Pizza vs Housos, the sequel to the cult classic film Fat Pizza collides with the Logie Award winning comedy series Housos, to bring the latest battle of thongs, chainsaws, bikies and pizzas to local screens on 27 November 2014.
