Media and marketing PR agency Bold Media has further expanded its relationship with MullenLowe Group, adding MullenLowe Asia Pacific to its existing scope of work with MullenLowe Profero.

Bold Media will be tasked with managing B2B media relations, content creation and communications strategy and planning for MullenLowe Group businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.

The account win will see Bold grow its Sydney operations and open a Singapore office, further expanding the agency’s footprint the advertising, media, ad tech, and technology sectors.

In addition to adding MullenLowe to its client portfolio, Bold has picked up Asian contracts with mobile location and behaviour specialist Blis and digital display advertising company Inskin, following a string of success with both businesses in Sydney.

Bold also recently added two new hires to cement the business’ growth, with Oliver Budgen (pictured above, far left) joining the team as head of Asia to lead the agency’s Singapore operations, while Emilie Sharp (pictured above, second from the right) joins the Sydney office as an account executive.

In addition to Bold’s client wins, expansion into Asia and new hires, the agency recently won a coveted Golden Pencil from The One Show for its work with The Woolshed Company on ‘The Viral Experiment’.

Bold managing director Toby Hemming (pictured above, second from the left) said he’s excited about the expansion of the team and its operations into the Asia-Pacific region.

“Since founding Bold in 2012, it’s great to see the business growing through the dedication and hard work of our close-knit team,” he said.

“We pride ourselves on helping the region’s most ambitious companies drive revenue through reputation, and this expansion is a product of that successful vision.”

Wayne Arnold, global CEO of MullenLowe Profero, said the group needs effective and agile communications frameworks to support the strong growth of its’s Asian operations.

“Bold have been an important partner to MullenLowe Profero in APAC for over five years. They have consistently achieved great results, delivering insight and expertise that has proved invaluable for our business growth and ongoing success,” he said.

“It’s therefore exciting to see their expansion into Southeast Asia to build out their capabilities further. MullenLowe Group are currently executing ambitious growth plans across Asia, as recently seen in China and Japan, and Bold play a crucial role in this strategy.”
