The Block’s Elyse Knowles Fronts EMU Australia’s Global Social Media Campaign

Premium Australian footwear brand EMU Australia has launched its largest-ever global social media campaign, ‘EMU Travels the World’.

The campaign features the same style of EMU Australia ‘Roadside’ boots being captured by online influencers at iconic locations across 14 countries.

EMU Australia and the influencers will post the content on Instagram across a 60-day timeline, giving the impression that the same pair of boots is travelling across the globe.

The campaign kicked off in Sydney with EMU Australia ambassador, model and contestant on Nine’s The Block, Elyse Knowles, in front the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Roadside boots will then travel to Tokyo, Shanghai, Moscow, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Rome, Vienna, Berlin, Paris, London, Belfast, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles and New York before making their way back to the Great Ocean Road in Victoria – a stone’s throw away from EMU Australia’s birthplace, Geelong.

The concept was created to bring EMU Australia’s global consumers together; to illustrate the journey the brand has made on a global scale.

To incentivise the content creators, EMU Australia is offering a trip for two to Australia for international influencers, along with weekly consumer prizes to encourage customers to get involved.
