Adobe Launches Mockumentary Series On Social Media Influencers

Computer software giant Adobe has released a student-focused, five-part mockumentary social content series as part of its back-to-school campaign for Adobe Creative Cloud.

The series, dubbed ‘Shortcut To’, profiles five unlikely characters on their journey to becoming a social media influencer while taking as many shortcuts along the way as possible.

Each spot includes useful yet unconventional mini-tutorials on how to use key Adobe Creative Cloud features.

The series includes tongue-in-cheek tips like ‘how to go to Paris without leaving your bedroom’, ‘how to craft a dope #fitspo video’ and ‘how to Photoshop yourself into an explosive moment’.

Joyce Neo, marketing manager for Adobe’s student segment, said the series was designed to engage, entertain and introduce a student audience to key apps and features within Adobe Creative Cloud in a humorous and entertaining way.

“So far, we’ve seen success on social media channels such as Facebook, where there has been extremely positive sentiments and huge engagements,” she said.
